Although Chad's Raspberry Kitchen is a family owned and run business, Chad is the  inspiration for its existence. Chad was born with a rare liver disease and at the age of four had a liver transplant.  Six months later Chad was completely blind. Chad grew up to be a very talented and intelligent young man. He is very musically gifted and loves to play his guitar and sing. Recently he recieved a dog guide Huck, to further enable him to live independently.

     Before graduating from high school in 2001, Chad decided he wanted to run his own business. His love for Bear Lake and the famous Bear Lake Raspberries directed him to start Chad's Raspberry Kitchen.

     Today, Chad lives independently with Huck away from Chad's Kitchen. The business continues to grow and is now run mainly by Chad's parents, Craig and Jane, and his younger brother, Patrick.
